What is Disk Space?

Disk space is the amount of storage space allocated to your selected hosting plan and is available to you for storing your website files, emails, databases, and other content. The higher the hosting plan the higher the disk space.

The amount of disk space you need will depend on the size of your website and the amount of content you have, such as images, email attachments, and other media.

With VERAHOST, you can easily monitor your disk space usage through the "Disk Usage" tool, which displays a visual breakdown of the storage space used by different files and directories through your cPanel dashboard. You can also manage your files and directories, delete unnecessary files, and free up space using the "File Manager" tool.

If you exceed your allotted disk space, your website may experience performance issues. To avoid this, you can upgrade your hosting plan to a higher hosting plan with more disk space, or optimize your website by compressing images and other media files to reduce their size.
